Nowadays, the Electricity bill is increasing day by day so the electricity bill can be reduced by saving water. There are many ways to save water by which we can save current and money. If we use more water then water will become over in our tank then we will turn on the motor to fill the tank, so if we use less water then we can save electricity.

01. Avoid pipe leakages- Regularly check the pipelines in your house if there is any leakage in the pipe then immediately call a plumber to repair it. If there is a leakage then more water will get wasted.

02. Avoid using toilets as an ashtray- Throw cigarette ash in the dust bin do not use the toilet as a dust bin to throw ash. If you use the toilet as a dust bin then more water you will use.

03. Avoid Showers- Instead of shower use a bucket of water for bathing if you use a shower then you are using more water, if you use a bucket of water for a bath then you are using less water. less water means low electricity bills.

04. Avoid tap overflow- Turn on the tap if you want to use water avoid unnecessary turning on the tap which will save water.

05. Fix Water Meter- This is the best way where you will get to know how much water are you using if there is any leakage in the pipe then you can analyze by seeing the meter.

06. Reuse water- By reusing the water you can save water. If you are using a water purifier for drinking water then to purify one-liter water it will waste three-liter water. This three-liter water can be used to clean the floor.

07. Avoid overflow of a tank- Avoid overflow of the tank, turn off motor at the proper time it will reduce your bill, or else use water level controller for your tank, so that water can be stored in the tank without overflow. This is also a basic thing which will help you to reduce the electricity bill.

08. Use the washing machine at full load- Always try to use the washing machine when you have more clothes if you use washing with fewer clothes then you are wasting more water if you use the washing machine at full load then it will save water. So first collect clothes for one week or a few days then use the washing machine at full load.

09. Educate children- Educate your children about the importance of water and tell them by saving water we can save electricity. Tell them not the turn-on taps unnecessarily.

10. Rainwater harvesting- During rainy seasons, collect the water by using the technic of rainwater harvesting then you can use water for other purposes such as washing the car, for plants, floor cleaning, etc.

11. Use bucket while washing the car- Whenever you are washing your car don’t use the pipe for washing because more water will get wasted instead use a bucket of water which will save water.

12. Wash vegetables in one pan- By washing vegetables in one pan it will save water if you wash vegetables by turning on the tap then you are using more water to wash vegetables.

13. Fish tank- While cleaning fish tank don’t throw water, instead use water for plants, toilets, etc.

14. Fly ash toilets- Use fly ash toilets in your house which do not require water. Go and check in google about fly ash toilets.

15. Tissue paper- Instead of water in toilets use tissue paper to clean your part which will save water.
