Nowadays batteries play a very important role in our life, without a battery life is like without food. Sometimes energy shutdown takes place in our city or village at that time battery plays a very important role. Suppose if our battery fails very early then you should buy a new battery, but buying a new battery will cost you more money. So guys in this article I will discuss tips to maintain the battery for a long life so that you can save money and also some time.

01. Provide Ventilation – This is a very important thing to be considered because during charging or discharging of a battery heat is produced in the battery so to cool the battery, keep the battery in an open space. If you do not provide ventilation to your battery then more heat will be generated in the battery and the life span of the battery will reduce. A battery without ventilation is like a man sitting in a room without any window or ventilation and the man will not get proper oxygen.

 02. Distilled Water – Check regularly the liquid level of water in the battery, use distilled water every three to four months. The cost of distilled water per liter is 15 to 20 rupees, you can buy distilled water from an electrical shop. Do keep the battery dry and use distilled water frequently. If your battery becomes dry then a blast of the battery may take place which will be more harmful or dangerous.

03. Electrolyte Level – Always liquid level in the battery should be one and half-inch less. If you put more electrolytes then during charging of battery some electrolyte come out which is more dangerous for human beings.

04. Avoid Corrosion – Avoid corrosion to the terminals of the battery, if corrosion occurs in battery terminals then the battery will not get properly charged and properly discharge this affects the life of the battery. To avoid corrosion use petroleum galley, by using petroleum galley corrosion in a battery can be avoided.

05. Isolate to Ground – Do not keep the battery on the ground, it is better to keep the battery on a wood or plastic, and isolate the battery from the ground. If a battery is kept on the ground, the battery will become weak soon.

06. Charge and Discharge – Use the battery frequently, always charge the battery and also discharge the battery, but do not keep the battery without use. If you do not use the battery daily then at least one day in a one charge battery and discharge it so that the life span of the battery can be increased.

07. Overload – Always avoid overload on a battery, overloading a battery will affect its life of the battery. Do not connect any heater coil, drilling machine, etc with the battery.

08. Needles – Keep the needles of the battery clean so that you can always easily check the level of electrolyte inside the battery.

09. Best Battery – Always buy a battery from the best company which gives good quality of battery I suggest you all take Su-Kum, Exide batteries because their life span is more.

10. Change Acid – Suppose if your battery becomes weak, then change the acid inside of the battery, put new acid in the battery, and charge it for 24 hours by using a battery charger that will be available in battery shops.

Guys these are the tips to maintain the battery for a long life so that you can save money.

I hope this article may help you all a lot…..
