These are some 10 steps to prepare for placement that each and everyone must follow to get a good job. Well, let’s discuss it one by one.

01. Make a list of companies

If you are at the beginning of the final year then don’t waste time start making a list of companies that are visiting your college for hiring freshers which will help you a lot. Making a list will also help you to prepare for good companies. And also note down the package which the company is offering for students.

02. Categories the companies

Categories the companies based on technical or non-technical, product based company or software company, etc. Categorizing companies will help you to focus more on core companies. If you are an electrical engineer then start preparing for core companies that are visiting your college.

03. Make two CV’s

Make two resume one for a technical company and another one for a non-technical company. And also use the proper template for resumes. Use a resume that is a more attractive one, don’t copy the same resume from your friend.

04. Analyze the selection process

Before attending any interview analyze the selection process of the company which you are attending. Whether there is an HR interview or not, or else group discussion is there or not, analyze each and everything which will help you a lot.

05. Prepare for aptitude test

An aptitude test is very important. The first round comes to the aptitude test if you don’t clear this test then you will not go for the next round. Watch youtube videos to improve your aptitude, you can also download the android app of aptitude and solve many questions.

06. Revise your subjects

This is the most important thing, many students attend the interview without revising their subjects. To clear the technical round you must have technical knowledge. Revise all engineering subjects to clear technical round.

07. Prepare for group discussion and HR round

Be prepared with incidents that are going around, the topic may be anything in a group discussion but you should have some knowledge to answer. And also be confident while you are speaking.

08. Improve your communication skills

This is very important. Each and every company is hiring students who are good at communication. So, improve your communication by watching videos, reading books, etc. Read daily books for one hour which will improve your communication.

09. Don’t get demotivated

If you don’t get a job or you have been rejected then don’t be demotivated. Many opportunities will come in life, just chill and attend the next interview.

10. Show some energy

While talking to HR don’t be dull show some confidence and energy. The company will hire a student who is more active.
