This tesla software is being trained by drivers on 3 billion miles on public roads, as of April 2020. It also consists of an advanced computer chip that is installed in the car and also developed neural network training supercomputers.

It is an autonomous self-driving car developing company. Its headquarter is in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was co-founded by Bryan Salesky and Peter Rander, experts of the Google and Uber automated driving programs. It was co-founded in November 2016. It is an American independent company that builds the software, hardware, maps, and cloud support infrastructure to power self-driving vehicles.

Agro has two main investors Ford Motor Co. and the Volkswagen group. Argo’s Self Driving System (SDS) technology will be incorporated into vehicles manufactured by auto-makers through these partnerships. As of 2020 July the company employed 1000 employees with the offices in Pittsburgh. Its technology will deliver Level 4-capable Self Driving Systems for autonomous driving vehicles.

It has included the software and hardware computing platforms, sensors, cameras, radar, and light detection and ranging radar. In October 2017 it has purchased a lidar which is light weighted. In 2019 Agro introduced the third-generation test of the vehicles, based on Fort fusion hybrid. Which also consists of high-resolution cameras with dynamics rangers, supercomputers, and heating and cooling system improvements.

In June 2019 this company has announced an investment of 15 million dollars over five years to create the Carnegie Mellon University Argo AI Center for Autonomous Vehicle Research that will be focusing on advanced vehicle technology.

These vehicles also use Radar, Cameras, and Lidar on their vehicles.

In September 2016 have conducted testing with the fleet of approximately 30 self-driving vehicles. By 2017 the total number of self-driving vehicles to be estimated. In 2017 also cruise have conducted tests on the roads in San Francisco, Scottsdale, Arizona, and the metropolitan Detroit area.
