From student 01:

01. Questions on flip flops.

02. Realize exor gate using 2:1 mux.

03. Hexadecimal to Binary conversations.

04. One question on the writing c program.

05. Predict the output of c programs.

06. Frequency Division using Flip Flop.

07. Basics of Circuit Analysis.

08. Basics of ARM Controller.

NOTE: More complex questions and time-consuming questions were asked.

From student 02:

01. In 2 mb x 32-bit memory, how many data lines and address lines are required.

02. Verilog code for seven-segment displays.

03. Convert 80 Mhz to 20 Mhz using digital logic.

04. Some were related Seven Segment Display.

05. Some were related to Mux, Decoder, Encoder.

From student 03:

01. As its VLSI company better you make yourself strong in electronics and programming. Questions were from digital electronics, analog (less) and c
Programming questions.

02. Conversation of numbers -Hex to decimal, gray to binary, binary to hex, and binary to octal, etc.

03. Design digital system to find the square root of a number For ex sq(1)=1 ,sq(3)=1 , sq(8)=2 , sq(9)=3 sq(15)=3 Convert 800Mhz frequency to 200Mhz using flip flop.

04. Questions were asked on flip flop, mux, decoder, encoder.

05. Some simple c coding problems.

After clearing the online test you will be eligible for a technical interview.

Technical Interview Questions

From student 01:

01. Know everything about your projects. The VLSI projects will be taken more into consideration.

02. If you have won any competitions or published any paper, do mention it in your introduction itself.

03. Speak passionately about your project and know the block diagram, working, and the implementation.

04. When asked for my favorite course, I said Analog VLSI. The interviewer was then asked to draw and explain the working of the transistor as an amplifier.

05. Then asked questions from Digital Electronics like the difference between flip flop and latch, asynchronous counter and synchronous counter and also asked about Mealy and Moore models.

From student 02:

01. He asked me about my project.

02. Difference between flip-flops and latches.

03. Write a circuit diagram of the D flip-flop.

04. Differentiate Asynchronous and Synchronous reset using Verilog code.

05. Difference between Mealy and Moore machine.

06. Setup and hold time.

07. Write a Verilog code for 2:1 mux.

From student 03:

01. Panel consists of 1 interviewer. Questions were asked on a favorite subject. As I said my favorite subject is digital all questions from digital.

02. Conversation of one flip flop to another.

03. Implement AND NAND NOR XOR gate using MUX

04. Circuit inside MUX and decoder

05. What is a synchronous device.

06. It’s an advantage if you know and studied Verilog.

07. What is FPGA, Netlist, synthesis?

08. Some simple codes on Verilog to implementation of MUX, DECODER, etc.

09. How many 4:1 mux require to implement 256:1 mux.

10. Draw D flip flop and explain its working.

11. Draw inverter circuits using c mos and explain how it works.

12. Write a C program to reverse the string.

HR Interview Questions

Its telephonic interview in this round they ask,

01. Tell me about yourself?

02. Asked about company background?

03. Tell me in brief about your projects?

04. Strengths and weaknesses?

05. In which domain are you interested?

06. Hobbies and interests?
