  1. Transfer function is an expression in s-domain.
  2. It is in terms of system parameters & is independent of the input.
  3. Transfer function describes the input-output behaviours of the system and does not give any information about the internal structure of the system.
  4. Transfer function can be defined only under zero initial condition.
