The advantages of Thumb instructions are:

  1. Code density increases
  2. Memory usage is less.
  3. Saves cost and enhances the performance of the processor.
  4. It can handle 8, 16, and 32 bit of data.
  5. Thumb implementation of code takes around 30% less memory than the memory used by the processor in ARM mode.
  6. Thumb mode can be used in case of memory constraints.
