Nowadays, you will hear the name of artificial intelligence from your friends, brother, and also some people will ask you about what is artificial intelligence. Many smartphone companies tell that their phone is made with AI, don’t worry I will discuss it in detail. I will try to explain the concept in a precise manner.

Introduction

This is an ironic twist in terminology. The term that is “Intelligence” refers to the processing capability of doing everything, therefore, every computer is intelligent. However, AI is like a human brain.

Possibly we can say that it means “non-natural understanding” natural understanding are we human beings. AI in some sense is an engineering inspired by biology.

AI is a branch of science which deals with helping machines find solutions to complex problems in a more human-like fashion or way of thing. In AI, an “intelligent system” is one that exhibits the behavior normally associated with human intelligence.

Definition of Artificial Intelligence

Defining the intelligence in the computer systems can be problematic since intelligence can be defined as something that humans being possessed and computers do not.

In AI, however, an “intelligent system” is one that exhibits behavior normally associated with human intelligence. A machine that performs complex diagnostic procedures and pattern matching is considered intelligent.

AI (Artificial Intelligence) is a branch of computer science and also engineering that deals with intelligent behavior, learning, and adaptation in machines.

The ability of a machine to perform those activities that are normally thought to require intelligence and which brings common sense, expert knowledge, and superhuman reasoning to computers.

Schools of Thought

AI divides into two schools of thought i.e., Conventional AI and Computational Intelligence.

Conventional AI

This type mostly involves method which is now classified as machine learning, characterized by formalism and statistical analysis. This is also known as symbolic Artificial Intelligence, logical Artificial Intelligence, neat AI, and Good old fashioned artificial intelligence.

Computational Intelligence

Computational Intelligence involves iterative development or learning. Learning is based on empirical data and is associated with non-symbolic AI, scruffy AI, and soft computing.

Difference Between AI And ML

Now let’s discuss the difference between artificial intelligence and machine learning with examples. The man who is playing football can play only football if we give a bat to play cricket then the man can not play cricket because he knows only football, this is what machine learning is. Now let’s talk about artificial intelligence if a man who is playing football if we give a bat to play cricket then he will try to play and soon the man will play cricket very well. This the difference between machine learning and artificial intelligence.
