SLK Software Hiring Process, Technical, HR Round Interview Questions

Hello guys, welcome back to my blog. In this article, I will discuss SLK software, the SLK software hiring process, technical interview questions, HR round interview questions, packages offered by SLK software.

SLK Software Hiring Process

SLK stands for Shantanurao Laxmanrao Kirloskar, he is a founder of SK software started in year 2000. This company has 2,500 employs. It provides various IT services in domains like machine learning, data science, cloud, applications, etc. Well, now let me share my experience with SLK software like how they hire freshers, what all technical questions will they ask, aptitude questions, and HR interview questions.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. 10th Standard : 60% and above
  2. 12th/Diploma : 60% and above
  3. BE CGPA : 6.75 and above

The job role they offer for fresher is Project Trainee.

SLK Selection Process

  1. Online Test
  2. Technical Round
  3. HR Round

Online Test

  1. Quantitative Aptitude
  2. Logical Reasoning
  3. English
  4. Critical and Verbal Reasoning

For Quantitative aptitude, one should be thorough with all the concepts such as LCM & HCF, Divisibility, Numbers, Fractions & Powers, Profit & Loss, simple & compound interest, Finding roots of an equation, Arithmetic Progression, permutation & combination, Probability.

For logical reasoning, this also included some concepts of quantitative aptitude and questions on directions, blood relation, coding & decoding, number series recognition.

For Verbal English, antonyms, synonyms, vocabulary, articles & prepositions, paragraph reading, error detection & identification.

For Critical and verbal Reasoning, most of the questions were based on a “cause and effect” problem and some analytical skills have to be applied.

Technical Interview

Different kinds of questions were asked.

For EE and EC Students

01. They first go through your resume, so be thorough with your resume. Each and Every Technical Skill mentioned in the Resume will be asked.

02. Be thorough with your favorite subject.

03. Be thorough with the basics of C like Arrays, strings, pointers & structures.

04. Know your Projects very well.

05. They may also ask to write some simple programs like Fibonacci series, reversing string or array, and data types & storage classes of C.

06. Some OOPS Concepts and Python Syntax were asked.

07. Which is your favorite subject in the curriculum – Digital Electronics?

08. What are Universal Gates?

09. What is XOR gate?

10. Write its Truth table?

11. Implement OR Gate using NAND Gate?

12. What is Class?

13. What is an Object?

14. What is SDLC (Software development Life Cycle)?

15. What Achievements did you do?

16. Told me to design the front end of the website that I had implemented.

17. Connecting the front end with the back end part?

18. What is Linked List?

19. What is you are a favorite subject and some questions on that subject?

For Computer Science Students

01. They asked basic C, Java, DBMS.

02. In my resume I had mentioned C and Java so they asked mainly on those topics.

03. Basic C questions and basic code like reverse the string, linked list and oops concept and real-world examples for that.

04. In another panel they were asked to draw a class diagram and to design a database.

05. Even they asked about webpage designing.

06. Be through with your projects.

07. Write a PHP program for database connectivity. (My project was based on PHP)?

08. What is Linked List?

09. Write a C program to implement a single linked list.

10. Next, convert it to a Double Linked list.

11. What are Angular JS and Node JS? (Because I said I am interested in website development)

Questions Asked For Mechanical Students

Most of the questions are application-based and very basic of what you have learned till the 7th semester.

01. Draw a stress-strain diagram for brittle material and ductile material.

02. Draw true and engineering stress-strain diagram.

03. Basics of IC engines, Questions on heat transfer, heat exchangers, etc.

04. They will ask your favorite subject and check your detailed understanding of that subject?

05. Questions related to projects, they will ask you to write your program if you mention programming languages in your resume?

06. One question may also be like what you have studied in your 4 years of engineering?

HR Round

01. It was just a casual talk

02. Tell me about yourself, family background

03. How keen are you to join SLK?

04. Strength and Weakness

05. What are you passionate about?

Tips During SLK Software Interview

01. Be through with your basics.

02. Always smile.

03. Ask questions if they ask you ” any questions” at the end of the interview.

04. Be confident.

05. Don’t bluff if you don’t know something say I don’t know clearly.

06. Given any question try to solve that at least make an attempt don’t give up.
