The types of loads are:

  1. Domestic Load- residential load
  2. Commercial load – shops, restaurants,
  3. Industries load-
  4. Municipal load- street light, power required for water supply and drainage purpose
  5. Irrigation load- pumps driven by the motor to supply water to fields
  6. Traction Load- trolleybuses, railways
