The features of 8051 microcontroller are:

  1. 128 bytes of Internal RAM.
  2. 4KB of Internal ROM.
  3. Four register banks (Bank 0,1,2 & 3) each contain register.
  4. 8-bit CPU with register A & B.
  5. 16-bit program counter (PC) and data pointer (DPTR).
  6. 8-bit stack pointer (SP).
  7. 16-bytes which may be addressed at the bit level.
  8. 8-bytes of general-purpose data memory.
