What are the factors by which time delay of the Gate is affected?

The factor on which the time delay of a GATE is affected are:

1. Intrinsic delay of the gate – The delay is due to the internal load.
2. Fanout (load) dependent delay – The gate delay of the gate increases as capacitive load (fan-out) increases. 
3. Fanin dependent delay – The gate with high fanin have high delay.
4. Supply voltage fluctuations also affect delay – The delay decreases with the increase in supply voltage to some extend only.
