Tesla, Inc. is an American vehicle that depends on electricity and clean energy company based in Palo Alto, California. Tesla’s electric stocks include electric cars, battery energy held from home to grid-scale, solar panels, solar roof tiles, also other related products and services. Tesla was incorporated in July 2003 as Tesla Motors by Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning.

The company’s name is a tribute to the inventor and electrical engineer Nikola tesla. Elon musk who contributed most of the funding in the early days has served as CEO since 2008. The main intention of musk is to provide pollution-free, sustainable transport by electrical vehicle using solar energy.

The first generation of tesla Roadsters started between 2005-2009. At present, tesla delivers four car models: the Model S, Model 3, Model X, and Model Y. Well, let’s discuss in detail about types of tesla electric cars.

Model S

The model S is a five-door liftback sedan. Releases began on June 22, 2012. Model S was the fairest selling plug-in electric car worldwide for the years 2015 and 2016. The Tesla Model S served as the first electric car to top the monthly sales rating in any country. When the electric car earned first place in the Norwegian new car sales catalog in September 2013. As of September 2018, it is listed as the world’s second best-selling plug-in electric car in history after the Nissan Leaf.

Among other awards, the model S won the”Ultimate car of the year” in 2019, “motor trend of the year” in 2013, “worlds the green car” in 2013, automobile journals 2013 the automobile of the year, and time publications best 25 creations of the year 2012 award.

In June 2020, Tesla published that the Model S long-range plus contained an EPA range of 402 miles(647km), the greatest of any battery-electric car.

Model 3

In November 2016, tesla acquired SolarCity. A few months later, in February 2017 tesla motors compressed its name to Tesla, Inc., to politely express the scope of the improved business.

Model 3 is a four-door fastback sedan. Tesla introduces model 3 on March 31, 2016. The Tesla Model 3 ranked as the world best selling plug-in electric car in 2018. The Tesla Model 3 departed in 2019 as the world’s best-selling plug-in electric car for an additional continuous year. Model 3 also set records in Norway and the Netherlands, listing in both countries not only as the top-selling plug-in electric car but also as the best-selling passenger car type in the all-around demand in 2019.

The regular range plus model is the most inexpensive, with a claimed extent of 263 miles. Raising the long-range or execution models increases the model 3 rated range to 315 miles for the action and an extraordinary 353 for the long-range.

Model X

The tesla model X categorized electric car is a mid-size crossover SUV. Model X releases started in 2015. It is presented in 5,6 and 7-passenger formats. The passenger ways are expressing “falcon wing” methods that unlock vertically. In September 2016, the model X was rated as the top-selling plug-in electric car in Norway. Recently, the model S had been the top-selling recent car four times.

Model Y

The model Y is a portable crossover utility automobile. Model Y is created on a strategy that takes many elements from model 3. The car has up to three rows of stools with the second and third rows wrinkled and will have an extent of up to 300miles.
